Introduction to Digital Photography
About this Course
In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of digital photography, including how to operate their digital cameras, compose compelling images, and edit photos using a variety of software programs. The course will also cover the latest apps and technology in the field of photography, including how to use social media platforms to share and promote your work. Throughout the course, students will work on building a strong digital portfolio of their photographs, learning how to organize and curate their images for maximum impact. In addition, the class will delve into the digital workflow of a professional photographer, covering topics such as file management, backing up data, and optimizing images for the web. Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your photography skills or an experienced photographer looking to stay up-to-date with the latest technology, this class has something for everyone. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in digital photography and the skills needed to take their work to the next level.
Students who have their own photography gear, are encouraged to bring it to class. It is not mandatory to have a camera, since students can still achieve the goals of the class using a quality cell phone camera. |
