How is your money distributed?

Tuition, College Service Fees and Student Activity Fees are mandated by the State of Connecticut.

Tuition

Pays for the instructors.

College Service Fees

College Services Fees are used to pay for the cost of running the college, expenses such as: utilities, security, custodial, library, and gym. Office personnel and student workers.

Student Activity Fees

Pays for students’ ID cards, transcripts, and graduation processing, as well as funds various clubs that are located on the College’s campus. The clubs sponsor events that students can participate in, such as trips, dinners and special events.

Why are Summer and Winter courses more expensive?

Summer and winter courses are self-supporting and must cover all the costs of running the summer/ winter program. All tuition and fees are set by the Board of Regents for the entire Community College System.
