Summertime Treats – Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches Grades 6-8

About this Course

What is better than Ice Cream in the summer?  When it is stuffed between 2 fresh baked cookies.  Students will learn to make ice cream from scratch custard base, flavors, and seasonings, and of course churning.  Students will also bake cookies from scratch, using measuring/math skills and time management.  Students will also have a hand in planning the menu as we learn about flavor combinations and appropriate substitutes for healthy eating.
