Conversation Circles 26/36: (Basic): This class is open to all ESL students.  Practice speaking, listening, and vocabulary for basic, everyday conversation. Levels 20 and 30.  Total hours:  56 hours

Conversation Circles 76: (Intermediate): This class is for Au Pairs and is open to all ESL students.  Practice speaking, listening, pronunciation, and vocabulary for more interesting conversation.  This is a fun, dynamic, interactive, informal conversation class.  Levels 40, 50, 60 and up.    Total hours:  56 hours     

Business for ESL Students 67: (Introduction to Business): This class touches our everyday lives. Learn the fundamentals of what is needed to succeed in business situations. Participate in dynamic, discussions while studying product development, managing people, and digital marketing and sales. Learn essential vocabulary. Practice communication skills by writing marketing plans, presenting company research, and solving business case studies. Explore the latest trends with corporate responsibility and fast-changing business news. Levels 40, 50, 60 & up.    Total hours:  45 hours

Business for ESL Students 69: (Beyond the Basics): This class advances the business experience beyond the basics.  Expect to participate in discussions on topics, such as: international brand marketing, successful management styles, and improving customer satisfaction.  Students will gain fluency in financial terminology.  Practice communication skills by researching and presenting a profile of a leading corporation and creating a business plan for a new company developed as a group project. Levels 132 and higher (or by permission).  Total hours: 45 hours

Reading Circles 78:  (High Intermediate and Up):  Read and discuss classic North American short stories to improve vocabulary, reading comprehension, speaking, and listening.  Practice some writing, grammar, and idioms. This is a dynamic, interactive class for higher-level students. Levels 132 and up.  Total hours:  56 hours

TOEFL Test Preparation: (High Intermediate + Advanced): Prepare for the TOEFL exam (Test of English as a Foreign Language).  This course will provide intermediate and advanced learners of English as a Second Language with techniques for taking this international exam. Learn strategies and tips for vocabulary acquisition, reading comprehension, grammar, speaking and listening, and writing an effective essay.  The TOEFL exam is often required to enter a four-year college or university in the United States.  It is not required for NCC.  This is a high level, intense course with a lot of reading, writing, and homework. Open to Levels 132 & up.    Total hours:  56 hours

Levels 10–60 ESL Non-credit classes: Reading/Writing, Grammar, and Speaking/Listening classes are good for Au Pair credits/hours. $399 + book (about $60 – $80).           Total hours:  56 hours
