Campus Tours

Norwalk Community College offers all parents and prospective students an opportunity to tour the college throughout the semester. Visitors will be guided around both the West and East campuses, while learning about the numerous programs and services available at NCC.

Placement Testing

NCC wants to help ensure your success by providing a course of study that will fulfill your unique goals and objectives. In order to achieve our goal of helping you attain your objectives, we require that all entering students who do not have previous transfer credits or NCC credits in English and/or mathematics take a placement test.

Academic Advising

Each semester, you should make an appointment with your academic advisor. Where you go for advising will depend on your major.

Financial Aid

Norwalk Community College provides a variety of financial aid programs in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and jobs to eligible students. Financial Aid Office personnel are available to assist students in all phases of the financial aid process and answer any questions pertaining to financial aid.

Tuition and Fees

An NCC education is an outstanding value.  Annual tuition at NCC is a fraction of the cost at most public and private universities.  By choosing NCC for the first two years of a four-year degree, students can save up to $80,000 on the overall cost of their undergraduate education.

Everett I. L. Baker Library

The Everett I.L. Baker Library serves the students, faculty, and staff of Norwalk Community College, as well as the community at large, as a gateway to information for knowledge seekers. In our support of the College’s mission and academic curricula, the Library strives to provide a broad range of services in a welcoming environment for our diverse population of users.

Tutoring Center

The NCC Tutoring Services Center is a comfortable academic environment where students may come to receive extra help and support with classwork and writing assignments. Students are encouraged to think logically and work through problems, so that their understanding of the subject material is strengthened.  Subject tutors are primarily peers, while writing tutors are professionals.  Both are carefully selected and trained to deliver the best tutoring possible.

Health and Wellness Center

The Pitney Bowes Foundation Wellness Center at NCC is a state-of-the-art fitness facility that is committed to improving the general well being of all patrons. We encourage safe and effective exercise in an effort to improve one’s quality of life.

NCC Bookstore
