About this Course

Ready to develop the skills and strategies to be a successful grant writer that is mission-focused? This course will help students further their career goals and learn the critical skills to becoming a successful grant writer. This course will explore how your nonprofit mission/vision, budgets, program designs, staffing and leadership combine to make a successful grant. Learn the differences and similarities in foundation, government, and individual donor grant requests. Explore successful grants and learn how to avoid common mistakes. This class will follow a hybrid format (remote and in-person), lectures, in-class projects and more.

Class will meet on campus, except on 10/8 which will be live remote online (LRON)
