About this Course

This course teaches the art of crafting unique seasonal decor and personalized gifts such as ornaments and jewelry. Through hands-on instruction in fundamental wire wrapping techniques, you will learn how to shape wire and make intricate components to complete 4-5 projects, including festive earrings, pendants, bracelets and decorative ornaments. Required tools and materials: Pliers (Round-nose pliers, Chain nose/Needle-nose pliers, Flat-nose pliers, Wire/flush cutters, Nylon-jaw pliers, Bent-nose pliers, Bail-making pliers, Crimping pliers). Artistic Aluminum (16 gauge), and Copper or Brass Round Wires in gauges – 16, 18, 20, and 26. Stones/beads (drilled). These materials can be purchased from crafting stores such as Michaels, Jo-Ann, Hobby Lobby or Amazon.
