About this Course

Medical Terminology is taught from an anatomical approach. The class provides a comprehensive training in medical root words, prefixes, suffixes and abbreviations. Topics include disease conditions, skeletal and muscular systems, nervous/sensory systems, endocrine, urinary, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, and reproductive systems.

This class is part of the Professional Medical Billing and Coding Certificate.
