Transcript Requests

Electronic Copies

Starting on Monday, March 30, 2015, Norwalk Community College will begin to offer the ability to obtain official transcripts in an electronic format (eTranscript). Current and former students will be able to request official eTranscripts to be sent to other educational institutions, potential employers, or any other appropriate entities.

Current and Recent Students

  1. Login to myCommNet (What is myCommNet?) with your NetID. (Forgot your NetID or password?)
  2. Under the Access Banner Self-Service section, click on the Banner Student & Faculty Self-Service link.

  3. Click on the Student Records button.

  4. Under the Transcripts section, click on Official Transcripts.

  5. A second menu will slide down, click on the second Request Official Transcript link.

  6. The CSCU system has authorized Parchment Inc. to act as an agent for providing official transcripts for all CT community colleges. Click on the Access the Transcript Ordering Site link.

  7. A new window will open with a request form on parchment.com. Please fill it out, and follow the steps to request an official transcript.

Former Students

(Students who have not been here for 2 or more years)

Students who have not been issued a NetID
Please submit an official Transcript request. Please ensure that your last name, first name, date of birth and last four digits of your SSN are entered correctly so that your request can be processed in a timely manner.

Students without an SSN on File
Please submit the paper Transcript Request Form. The form can:

  • Be brought in to the Records Office, E102,
  • Faxed to the Records Office at 203.857.7012, or
  • Mailed to:

Telephone or voice-mail transcript requests cannot be honored and no third party requests are accepted.

For students who complete a request in writing or in person, the best practice is to allow 14 business days after we receive your request for processing and mailing via U.S. Postal Mail. Please note that most transcripts are mailed sooner. Allow the maximum time if your transcript is more than 12 years old.

  • There is no fee for transcript requests.
  • If you require additional information, please call the Records Office at 203.857.7035, and press option 3.

Students may access their grades and may get a copy of their transcripts by using any computer that has internet service. For online access, take the following steps:

  1. Log into myCommNet with your NetID (What is myCommNet?) (Forgot your NetID or password?)
  2. Under the Access Banner Self-Service section, click on the Banner Student & Faculty Self-Service link.

  3. Click on the Student Records button.

  4. Under Transcripts, click on View Unofficial Transcript.

  5. A second menu will slide down, click on the second View Unofficial Transcript link.

  6. Make a selection from the Transcript Level dropdown.

  7. Click Submit.
  8. You will now be shown an unofficial transcript. Scroll down to view the details.
  9. If you need a printed copy, click on the CLICK HERE TO PRINT THE UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT link.
