Women in STEM Series on Nov. 19

NCC has received a grant from the National Science Foundation to encourage more women to study engineering in college.

In line with this  grant, NCC will hold its inaugural Women in STEM Speaker Series with alumna Linda Rivera as the invited speaker on Monday, November 19 at 2:30 p.m. in the GenRe Forum.

Linda is a engineering graduate of NCC who transferred to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, continued her education and obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. She currently works at Military Engines Center Of Excellence, Pratt & Whitney. Linda will talk about her experiences at NCC and her work as an engineer in a male-dominated field.
