NCC History Symposium

NCC held its 15th annual History Symposium on Wednesday, October 3rd. The symposium, titled, “Time of Fear: From the Russian Revolution to Joseph McCarthy,” was split into two sections and featured a series of faculty speakers who presented on a number of topics including the Red Summer of 1919, From Yalta to the Bay of Pigs, the Red Scare and Hollywood, the Lavender Scare, and the Impact of McCarthyism on American Feminism, among other topics. NCC President David L. Levinson, Ph.D. welcomed and provided opening remarks to a full house of students and local residents.
