Compiled by CARES and available at the Baker Library website. Welcome – Earth Day – Everett I.L. Baker Library at Norwalk Community College (libguides.com)

TAKE ACTION! Make an Earth day pledge
Think about a pledge that you can make to help the planet.  Then, take a photo of yourself holding that pledge or make a video on your cell phone saying the pledge. Send the photo or video to Nick Boretksy at nboretsky@norwalk.edu. Then, on Earth Day (April 22) go to NCC’s website, or one of its social media pages, and watch a compilation of all the pledges created by Roberto Reyes!  For more information, contact Nick at the email above.

You can also earn points by making climate friendly commuting choices, such as enrolling in hybrid or online classes.  The points you earn can be exchanged for gifts and discounts in local restaurants, museums and other attractions!
