Opioid 101

The program offers free, friendly Webex sessions with a counselor from the Counseling Services and a Prevention Corps member. This program will feature a brief Opioid factual presentation followed by a Kahoot game. First place prize is $75 and second place is $50. Sponsored by Counseling Services and Prevention Corps.

Finding New Ways of Thinking & Coping with Academic Stress

Are you finding it a challenge to manage competing academic demands, while staying on top of assignments? Falling behind academically can lead to increased stress and can cause problems in multiple areas of one’s life. This workshop is designed to help you approach your academic demands differently by discovering new pathways of thinking. You will be encouraged to challenge unhelpful thoughts and re-frame your thinking, which can often lend to productive outcomes, including increased focus and heightened academic success. Art Space Fridays: Creativity for Mind, Body and Soul

Art Space is a place to de-stress and have fun! During this drop-in workshop, you will have 45m inutes of dedicated hands-on creativity and art expression. According to the American Art Therapy Association, art expression positively impacts mental health and creates a healing process which provides a space to nonverbally communicate thoughts and feelings.  This workshop aims to promote self-care, self-understanding, and personal growth.
