Does your dental assistant pass the test?
Infection control is a hot topic in healthcare today, especially since the proliferation of antibiotic resistant community- and hospital-acquired bacteria.
Effective July 1, 2018, the State of Connecticut has required all dental assistants practicing in the state to pass the Infection Control Exam (ICE) given by the Dental Assisting National Board.
To help dental assistants prepare for this exam, Norwalk Community College is offering a four-session Infection Control Review course. It includes material review and practice questions.
The non-credit course will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning June 18, 2019. The instructor is Dr. Maria Sciaudone, D.M.D, Ph.D.
