Free Narcan Training on April 11

Every day, more than 115 Americans die after overdosing on opioids. Opioid overdose can happen anywhere. Most opioid overdoses happens right in the home. Narcan® (naloxone HCl) Nasal Spray is the first and only FDA-approved nasal form of naloxone for the emergency treatment of a known or suspected opioid overdose. Having Narcan on hand can help prevent an overdose death.

On Thursday April 11, free Narcan training sessions will be available for faculty, staff and students at noon and again at 2:30 the Gen Re Forum.

Free Narcan Kits will be distributed at the trainings, but supplies are limited. Don’t miss out on this very important opportunity to prevent another person from dying from opioid overdose.
