FAFSA Day Connecticut will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the NCC East Campus atrium.
Formerly known as College Goal Sunday (CGS), this event is a nationwide volunteer-driven effort to assist high school students and their families in accessing funding for post-secondary education. Event participants will receive free, hands-on assistance in completing the 2020-2021 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Financial Aid professionals along with other volunteers will be available to assist high school seniors and their families in completing and submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online in a comfortable and local setting.
This event is a service for the entire community (not just NCC students).
Applying for financial aid for the 2020-2021 school year (Fall 2019, Spring 2020 & Summer 2020) students and parents will use their 2018 Federal Income Tax information enabling them to apply for financial aid considerably earlier, and assisting students in knowing their federal financial aid eligibility months earlier than was previously possible.
