CDLS Children to Collect Books

Children from the Norwalk Community College Child Development Laboratory School (CDLS) will host a parade throughout the campus to collect books for the CDLS library at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, November 5.

The preschoolers will visit each department on campus to greet staff and faculty and collect any books people would like to donate.

These books will enable the lab school’s teachers to plan new and exciting early literacy activities and projects for the children.

The CDLS provides quality care for children ages 6 months to five years, including children with special needs and disabilities and children from diverse backgrounds. It serves children from the community as well as children of faculty, staff and students. The lab school welcomes all families and students into its diverse learning environment regardless of family structure; social, economic, racial, religious and cultural background; gender; abilities or preferred language.
