About the NCC Makerspace
What is its purpose?
By providing a space and equipment to create tangible products, the NCC Makerspace promotes student and community creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The Makerspace helps prepare students for future careers by giving them hands on experience with high tech fabrication tools including 3D printers, Laser cutters, and CNC milling machines.
Where it is located?
On the West campus across from the Culinary Arts Kitchen, in room W124.
Who can use it?
All NCC students, faculty and staff (with current NCC ID’s) can use the space with proper supervision and training. See Schedule for Supervised Open Hours and Training Workshops.
What is in the Makerspace?
- 3D printer
- Laser-etching machine
- CNC milling machine
- Electrical building and testing equipment
- Wide selection of hand tools
- The primary building materials will be wood and plastic.
