Paying for College

Financial aid, scholarships and payment options are available to make completing your degree more affordable. Get started by completing the federal financial aid application at www.fafsa.gov. If you have an account balance contact the Business office to discuss payment arrangements.

Flexible Offerings

The college offers a variety of full-semester and accelerated (6-, 8- and 12-week) classes, both online and on-campus; some courses even combine both. Day, evening, and weekend schedules are available. Additionally, short-term or non-credit offerings are available for those seeking work-related credentials or skills.

Transfer Opportunities

For those pursuing a bachelor’s degree, community college credits transfer to all four Connecticut state universities, UConn and most private colleges in CT, plus many others across the U.S., which can cut the overall cost of a college education by more than half. Learn more about CSCU Transfer Tickets.

Academic Support

A variety of academic support services are available in-person or virtually. Academic Coaches, Counselors, and Program Advisors are dedicated to helping students succeed. Additionally, mentoring programs such as UPLIFT, tutoring, and the Writing Center are accessible to all students.

Resources

Resources have been added to support returning students such as Guided Pathways Advising to help re-enroll and choose the right classes; plus free wellness counseling and a new virtual platform that provides free telehealth and mental health services. Childcare, transportation assistance, food pantry access, plus dedicated veterans and bi-lingual staff are also on-site.
