The Humane Society of The United States Lecture on Industrial vs. Sustainable Farming Methods

Kate Brindle, Senior Public Policy Specialist for Farm Animal Protection at the Humane Society of the United States, will be delivering a lecture on April 20 at 9:30am AND 11:30am. Kate and her teammates lead campaigns to prohibit the cage confinement of chickens, pigs and calves. She’s helped pass laws banning confinement in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. She also serves as a board member of Attorneys for Animals and is the Chair of the Animal Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Kate is a graduate of New York University and Michigan State University College of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Journal for Animal and Natural Resource Law and President of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.
The lecture will be held at two different times on April 20, one from 9:30am – 10:30am and the other from 11:30am – 12:30am.
