Suicide Prevention Training
December 7 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
The Crisis Response Team and the Counseling Center presents Safe Talk, an internationally recognized suicide prevention-training program, to be held on campus, Friday, December 7, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Room W105.
The training prepares participants to be suicide alert helpers. Participants will learn to notice and respond to situations where suicide thoughts might be present, learn of community resources and much more. This training is FREE to NCC faculty, staff, and students. Space is limited. You must sign up on the google doc below. This training is generously made possible by the local chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the NCC Foundation.
Please Note: This is the same training that was held on campus in October 2017. If you attended then, please do not sign up again so that we can offer the training to as many members of the campus community as possible. Refreshments will be served.
