About this Course
It’s never too soon to start planning for your financial future! This week-long financial literacy course will provide high school students with the necessary tools to make sound financial decisions and help them start on the right financial footing. Students will learn why some people are having so many financial challenges and how to avoid such challenges and financial mishaps. Students will also gain a financial education, create a game plan, and complete a financial needs analysis. The needs analysis is a financial GPS that will help students find answers to important financial questions. In addition to interactive and exciting discussions on topics such as the Cryptocurrency craze, the economic ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the basics of investing, students will also learn about banking, understanding financial statements, and the five key drivers of business (cash, profit, assets, growth, and people).
