Grades 9-12 Media Minds
About this Course
Media Minds is a unique and fun two-week summer program for high school students interested in understanding how media functions and how to function within the media. With a focus on both media literacy and media production, this highly active and engaging curriculum gives students a great overview of how to make better choices with all forms of media and how to engage in positive applications of media technology. Students will learn how to use various modern media (from video production to podcasting and more) and modern social media to be enlightened consumers and producers, and learn how to use various media platforms as an effective manner of self-promotion, communication, and networking. The program is 100% project-based learning.
This is a two-week program.
Prerequisites
