About this Course

Thousands of people have thought that they might like to give acting a try, maybe take a class, just for fun… then talked themselves out of it. Well, if you are one of them, this is the class for you! We call it a “bootcamp” because it’s sort of “basic training” for folks who haven’t necessarily acted before. But it’s really a no-pressure, improv-based workshop for anyone who’s thought acting might be fun, but never did anything about it, or actors looking to play around a little. Whoever you are, you’ll experience theatre and improv games, monologues and scene work, a bit of theory here and there, and lots of humor and fun to learn theatrical basics, develop techniques to feel comfortable on stage, and create compelling characters for an audience. So take that big step… have fun… and jump into acting!
