About this Course
This course will cover grant writing basics and prepare the learner to research, draft, and submit successful submissions. The class will combine lectures and in-class projects, creating an environment to test the skills taught. This course is designed for individuals or organizations who wish to strengthen their grant writing as a professional or volunteers. Students can expect to deepen their understanding of the types of grants, private foundations, corporate giving, and governmental funds. How to research and qualify potential funders. Where to access grant opportunities, information on funders, and grant writing tools. How grant writing fits into an organizational fundraising strategy. |
