Grades 6-8 Entrepreneurship for Kids
About this Course
This course provides young students with an exciting opportunity to learn all about starting their own business. Students will learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship that will enable them to convert ideas and concepts they are passionate about into successful business ventures. Hands-on activities include business plan creation, prototype design, and market strategy testing. An interactive exploration of sources of capital will help students think about ways to raise money to fund their projects. The course will help young students:
- Evaluate their passions
- Recognize business opportunities
- Learn problem solving skills
- Set goals
- Develop perseverance
- Learn financial skills
- Start enterprises at an early age
- Students will conclude the course by launching a product or service, preparing marketing material and even creating a website for their business venture.
