Broadcasting and Podcasting Grades 9-12
About this Course
Broadcasting and Podcasting will not only cover advice on how to produce and “script” a radio show or podcast, but dive into the equipment needed to do so and how to use it. It will also discuss everything from microphone techniques to software that could be used to distribute and release your podcast or radio program. Students will get a chance to work with the equipment needed to run their own show as well as advice on how to set up a program of their own from industry professionals.
*Class will be held Monday and Tuesday on campus at Norwalk Community College from 9:00am-12:00pm. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at Factory Underground Studio in Norwalk from 9:00am-12:00pm. Students are responsible for their own transportation. Parents will be provided with more information at the time of registration.
