Art in the Rainforest Grades 2-5

About this Course

Join us as we follow animals (jaguars, toucans, parrots, chameleons, monkeys, frogs, and more) into the rainforest and capture the wonders of the tropical world. Illustrate flora and fauna – trees and dazzling flowers. Be amazed by butterflies and insects found only in these unique environments. Learn fundamental and more advanced drawing, painting and mixed media skills, while exploring a variety of media including markers, cut paper collage, “found objects,” watercolors, tempera paint, wax relief, glue, and crayons. Young artists will be delighted at the astounding results and sense of pride found in creativity and self-expression.
