FAQ

What is a Recitation?
Informal, small group learning opportunities led by a Professor; a chance to ask questions, go over homework problems, get further explanation of concepts.

How will they work Virtually?
The Math faculty may share their screens and write on a virtual whiteboard, or use a large real whiteboard or a document camera to provide extra help and answer questions.

How would I ask a question?
During the recitation, you could share your screen or email the professor a photo of the problem that you are stuck on or read the problem out loud or hold it up to your camera.

Do I need to register in advance?
No! But you do need to download the Teams App the first time. Watch how (video)

Who can go?
Anyone registered for a math course that has recitations scheduled.

Why should I go to recitations?
It has been statistically proven that students who go get better grades!
