Programs and Degrees

Engineering Program offers two Associate’s degrees in engineering and engineering technology fields as well as a certificate in computer aided design. You can find more information about each program by clicking on the pictures below.

Engineering Science, A.S.

Transfer seamlessly to a Bachelor’s degree in a variety of engineering disciplines through an articulation agreement and guaranteed admission to several schools including UConn. CSCU College of Technology oversees the curriculum.

Technology Studies, A.S.

Transfer seamlessly to a Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology through an articulation agreement and guaranteed admission to multiple schools including Central Connecticut State University. CSCU College of Technology oversees the curriculum.

CAD Certificate

Prepares for a career in Computer Aided Drafting and Design.  CAD is the top required skills in technical jobs in Fairfield and Westchester counties. The courses can be used towards Technology Studies A.S. degree.

Professor Burt has taught at NCC since 1993. Her prior industrial engineering experience includes work with General Electric, Radar Systems Division and engineering work with General Dynamics in nuclear structures. In addition, she worked as an engineering consultant on commercial and industrial building projects.

Mobin Rastgar Agah had six years of work experience as an engineer before starting his PhD program at Temple University where he worked on Tissue Biomechanics and Biomechanics of Injury. He taught engineering courses at Temple University College of Engineering as an adjunct instructor prior to joining Norwalk Community College.
