NCC RN Program Benchmark for NCLEX First Time Pass Rate: Effective May 2015 the program’s 3-year average for first time licensure pass rate will be 80% or higher. ​Pass rate data is sent from the CT State Board of Nursing to the Division Director on or before August 1 each year.​

  • NCC Pass Rate: 2020 (May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021):  59/75 graduates = 78%
  • NCC Pass Rate: 2021 (May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022):  63/74 graduates = 85%
  • NCC Pass Rate: 2022 (May 1, 2022 to April 30, 2023):  49/61 graduates = 80%
  • CT State Norwalk Pass Rate: 2023 (May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024):  60/63 graduates = 95%


NCC RN Program Traditional Student New Benchmark for Completion Rates: 60% of students will complete the program in 100% of the program timeframe. ​Statistics reviewed annually​ on or before August 1 to reflect completion rates for the prior Academic Year.

  • Spring 2021: 75% (49/70) traditional students 4 semesters (100%) completion rate
  • Spring 2022: 67% (48/72) traditional students 4 semesters (100%) completion rate
  • Spring 2023: 57% (47/83) traditional students 4 semesters (100%) completion rate
  • Spring 2024: 54% (49/90) traditional students 4 semesters (100%) completion rate

NCC RN Program Benchmark (ELA) for Graduate Employment Rates: 70 % of graduates will be employed in the field of nursing within 6-12 months. Statistics reviewed annually on or before Nov 1 to reflect employment rates for the prior Academic Year.

  • Graduate Survey 2021 (2020 graduates) n = 19/21 respondents = 90.5%
  • Graduate Survey 2022 (2021 graduates) n = 19/20 respondents = 95%
  • Graduate Survey 2023 (2022 graduates) n = 27/28 respondents = 96%
  • Graduate Survey 2024 (2023 graduates) n = 15/15 respondents = 100%

  • The Medical Assistant Program at CT State Norwalk has a five-year retention rate of 82.19% for the years 2018 – 2022.
  • The Medical Assistant Program at CT State Norwalk has a five-year Employer Satisfaction Rate of 100% for the years 2018 – 2022.
