Financial Aid Office personnel are available to assist students in all phases of the financial aid process and answer any questions pertaining to financial aid.


Norwalk Community College provides a variety of financial aid programs in the form of scholarships, grants, loans and jobs to eligible students. The amount and type of aid received is dependent upon the student’s financial need as well as annual federal and state allocations. Priority deadlines and student's responsibility

Students are expected to initiate the financial aid process in a timely manner. It is your responsibility to complete the application on time, check the status of your application, ensure all requirements are met, and ask for assistance if needed. Late applications will be awarded on a funds available basis. Please review all links on our web page so you can become aware of the policies our office must follow.


Descriptions of financial aid programs are subject to change, due to possible changes in federal, state, and College policies, and/or due to changes in funding levels. The Financial Aid Services Office will make every reasonable effort to keep applicants and students aware of any such changes.
